What blogging is all about is expression, arguments, interaction and freedom of speech. Seth Godin, one of the worlds top marketeers, set up a brand new way of … ehm… interacting. It’s not blogging, no forum, but it has the same characteristics included.
What you do at HeyMonkeyBrain is you start a discussion. First you phrase a poined view. Then you clarify things and put some links with additional blog postings, video’s or whatever is to be found on the internet to create a high quality discussion. Next step is that readers agree or disagree with you and explain why.
Brilliant concept? I think so. Twitter is maybe too cosy for a fierce discussion and I think a blog has been the core of this new concept, combined with some additional needs people have on the web right now. Seth Godin has achieved to launch the concept with tools and frames that stimulate quality. It’s all in the pay-off: “where smart people go to argue”
